I hear you

I hear you, you don't hear me is the title of my latest novel, which has been published on Amazon - in German only - sorry! (But the translation into English will follow soon.)

But here's what the book is about: By chance three persons meet, and this changes their lives: Frank Maria Sellin, a professional listener in his “listening office”, is challenged by his client Anne, who is looking for a way out of her feelings of guilt. He fights in vain against falling in love with her because that would be unethical. At the same time, a young woman is introduced into the story. Emma experiences a crisis and in her darkest hour meets Anne who takes her in and selflessly cares for her. Frank Maria has to decide whether he should get involved - something he has tried to avoid all his life. But this would mean that he could lose Anne.

This very strong image plunges the viewer into a moody, almost cinematic interior saturated with rich blacks, blood reds, and incandescent yellows. A glowing curve in the upper right suggests firelight or a glowing body, while the darkness swallows surrounding detail, leaving just enough form to provoke curiosity.

The composition feels like a memory in fragments, filtered through emotion and shadow. Its impact lies in its ambiguity — it's intimate yet unknowable, a scene half-remembered or dreamed.
