I recently had the great fortune to hear her perform live in concert. Not Mozart with a childlike spirit, but Beethoven's last, almost otherworldly sonatas. Yes, she can do that too. Of course she can. It was the best concert I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. Thank you, Dame Mitsuko Uchida!

Rondo alla Turca is the third movement of Mozart's Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331, written in 1784. It imitates the sound of Turkish Janissary bands (Turkish military marching bands), the music of which was much in vogue at that time.
