If I had a boat

If I Had a Boat -

two souls, oh, live in my breast. On the one hand, a boat is a burning dream of mine, ever since childhood and the first books about captains and their adventures in foreign lands, with plenty of sunshine and storms that people heroically overcome, and I was right in the middle of it all, thanks to my overabundant childish imagination. Above me, the sails billowing and rustling in the wind against the oh-so-blue sky... On the other hand, I often go for walks along the lake shore, pass by the marina, and there they all are, the beautiful, expensive boats, and they lie there and lie, and no one is sailing them out into the gently swaying waves, to freedom. And on Sunday mornings, you see the proud owners and their wife, crammed into 5 square meters, drinking coffee, so ordinary and bourgeois that you wonder what the hell it's all about.

Am I just jealous? Oh, what do I know.

If I Had a Boat is also a wonderful and hopeful song by Lyle Lovett. But my picture is a vibrant playground of pastels and earth tones. The symmetry of the image — mirroring water, stones, and hanging leaves — creates a peaceful surrealism. There’s a Monet-like softness fused with digital clarity, balancing serenity and bold chroma. What makes it special is the atmosphere: a suspended moment in nature where the boundary between surface and depth, real and reflected, disappears.
