Mrs. Robinson

Every time I came into the living room, my daughter was sitting in front of the television, staring intently at the small screen. I think she probably watched The Graduate at least 30 times. And every time there was Mrs. Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel. Yes, it's been a while. She's grown up now and I'm old. Would I watch the film again? Together with her?

Update: Not so long there was a replay of The Graduate in one of the channels, and I recorded it. And waited for the next visit of my daughter - she's living in another country. And then, yes, she and her mom and me, we spent the evening glued to the screen. The movie is simply great and much, much better than I had remembered. I think I'll watch it again some day. With or withour my daughter.

For me, this image is a meditative study on the act of receiving and preserving energy, memory, emotion. Soft blues, pinks, warm grays, and yellows play with a red upper contrast.
