Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights is one of the rare songs which struck me like lightning when I first heard it. I didn't understand the lyrics, I didn't (and still don't) know the novel. And I didn't (and still don't) care. I simply love this so very intense song by Kate Bush.

As usual, some of the lines:

Out on the wily, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green
You had a temper like my jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you, I loved you too

A spectral landscape unfolds in windswept hues of blue, red, and shadow. A tree stands drenched in weeping pigment, as if the sky itself had bled into its branches. Sharp silhouettes drift through the scene — half-formed memories or ghostly figures caught between presence and absence. A white shape hovers, like a forgotten letter or a window ajar.

The mood is restless, elemental, and charged with longing. Inspired by Kate Bush’s haunting song, this piece evokes the wildness of emotion and the echo of a voice carried through moorland winds — untamed, mournful, and utterly unforgettable.
